AI Search Visibility Consultant, Strategist, and Educator
Cassie Clark is an AI search visibility consultant and founder of Cassie Clark Marketing. She works with startups, scaling companies, and enterprise brands to understand how AI search is changing their businesses, identify what’s affecting their visibility, and build strategies their teams can actually use.
She is the creator of the FSA Framework, a research-informed approach to investigating how Freshness, Structure, and Authority may influence how AI systems discover, interpret, and represent brands. Her work combines original research, controlled experimentation, AI visibility measurement, and strategic consulting to help companies understand what the evidence means for their businesses.
Her work has been published on HubSpot’s Marketing Blog. She hosts Found in AI, a podcast on AI search and GEO strategy, and writes The Visibility Report, a weekly newsletter on what’s actually working in AI search. When she’s not running controlled tests across AI engines and taking notes, you can find her people-watching at sporting events or managing hives of honey bees.

How I Got Here
My career didn’t start in marketing. It started in education.
Before I became a content strategist, I taught middle school Spanish. Teaching taught me something I still use every day: understanding a complicated subject isn’t the same as knowing how to explain it in a way someone else can actually use.
I eventually moved into content writing and strategy, working with startups, scaling companies, and enterprise brands. Over more than a decade, I learned how content, positioning, distribution, and business objectives need to work together.
Then generative AI started changing the industry.
Like a lot of people working in content, I saw how quickly AI was changing the economics of content production. But I was more interested in what happens when the systems people use to discover businesses start generating their own answers.
Because I’m nosy, I started testing.
I experimented with how AI platforms retrieve information, which sources they rely on, how they represent brands, and what changes might influence those results. Those experiments eventually became the FSA Framework and helped shape the work I do today.
I also started Found in AI to document what I was learning and have conversations with people working through the same questions.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of AI search, content strategy, business strategy, and education. I help companies understand what is happening, determine what actually needs to change, and make those changes workable within their organizations.
Why Brands Work With Me
I start with the problem, not a predetermined solution.
Not every company needs an AI search visibility audit. Some need to educate their teams. Others need to understand why AI systems are misrepresenting their business, or how AI search fits into a larger marketing challenge. I start by understanding what you’re trying to accomplish before recommending an approach.
I look beyond visibility scores and citations.
Being mentioned in an AI-generated answer doesn’t necessarily mean a brand is being understood or recommended correctly. I examine how AI systems represent companies, which sources influence those answers, and where the results differ from the business’s actual positioning and objectives.
I connect the research to business decisions.
I use experimentation, measurement, source analysis, and competitive research to investigate what’s happening. But the goal isn’t another dashboard or a report that sits untouched. It’s helping leadership and marketing teams understand what the findings mean and what to do next.
I help teams build the capability to act.
AI search doesn’t belong to one department. Depending on the organization, progress may require coordination across content, SEO, PR, brand, product, web, and leadership. My role is to help teams understand where their responsibilities intersect and how to move forward together.
